DON'T, DON'T, DON'T
GO ABROAD
WITHOUT TRAVEL HEALTH INSURANCE
Make travel health insurance arrangements as soon as
you confirm your holiday and do not leave it too late.
If you possess private travel health insurance for use in
this country, it may cover you abroad. (If you travel frequently
to foreign destinations then it will be helpful if this
is covered in your policy.)
Tailor your holiday/travel health insurance according to
your individual requirements.
Take details of your travel insurance with you.
Take your NHS Card with you. If you do not have it, you
will need to phone your local health authority and ask for
the registration department they will issue a new one.
IF YOU BECOME ILL ABROAD
