Use of 'What should I do?' publications has been extensively researched - your assurance that patient care programmes will have greater success.

Self-care of minor illnesses

The What should I do? self-care programme using symptom based health advice has been used as a benchmark for a number of independent patient education studies for several years.

The research studies have taken place in different countries and regions, involving a diverse mix of age, sex and ethnic background. There is a high correlation between these major research studies. Other studies by a number of GP’s or surgeries around the UK have also closely matched the findings.
